The Photography Show
I will be attending The Photography Show at the NEC, Birmingham. So keep an eye out for me.
That's what I strive to create, be that for your portraits, weddings or events, and no matter where it takes place. We are not tied to one place, and regularly travel all over the country, using hire studios, as well as building our own in your location. But photography is not just about the location, or the image itself, but about the emotion that is behind the image. So my first point of call in creating any photograph, is in trying to understand the subject, and what they think and feel. Hopefully then, that sense of person comes over in my photographs, and it'll be something that you enjoy viewing for may years to come.
My life story (the abridged version)
So, I started photography aged 11, thanks to a fantastic teacher at my high school who saw in me an artist's eye (but a bricklayers hands). It was something I quickly became hoked on, but I never had any intention of making this my career. After many years of shooting still life and landscapes, I was asked by a friend to shoot some portraits of his baby sister, and I found I had the back. A few years later I got a job working for an instore portrait photography company, and my interest in people shooting was nurtured even more. Now, I rarely shoot anything else.

About My Recent Works
Miss Anti-Bullying 2014
I was proud to have been asked to be a judge for the inaugural Miss Anti-Bullying pageant, as it's a cause close to my heart. The winner was the stunning Emma Day who came to the studio for the portrait session I gave as a prize. She was definitely a worth winner.
Me, a Nightclub and a Load of Dancers
That was last week when I was asked to shoot the first set of promotional images for a new dance troupe. La Fleur Rouge turned up with case full of costumes to Levels nightclub in Liverpool for what turned out to be a hectic, but fantastic fun filed shoot..
Just for Myself
Sometimes, when things get quiet, I will indulge in a little still life commercial photography to boost my photo library of works. I had the chance to do this a few days ago, and the results are now available in several international stock photography stores/.

The Photography Show
March 21-24 sees the return of the annual Photography Show at the NEC, Birmingham. I attend this every year, and this year I'll be going down twice. If you have any interest in photography, videography etc, then I urge you to go. It's well worth the trip.
I will be heading down to Congelton later in the month to shoot BexH, and provide some more sets for the online website, Zivity.
